Chief Judge Katherine S. Gorman of the Tenth Judicial Circuit was elected Chair for the Conference of Chief Circuit Judges effective January 1st, 2024.

The Chair for the Conference of Chief Circuit Judges meets monthly with the Conference to consider problems relating to the administration of the circuit courts and such other matters as may from time to time be referred to the Conference by the Illinois Supreme Court.

At the meeting, Chief Judge Gorman thanked the members of the Conference for their confidence in her and looks forward to working with Chief Judges statewide, the Illinois Supreme Court and the Administrative Office of the Illinois Courts.
